Today is the 1st and it is now 9:30 pm and I am just now finding the time to sit down and write. I had quite a few goals for today regarding writing and digging into some scripture but it just hasn’t happened yet.
I am doing a series in January through Becoming a Godly wife. Bridget who runs http://www.becomingagodlywife.com/ has a free download for her subscribers for this month called Daily Moments With God Devotional. It’s a pretty download with a verse she has chosen for us to write and then a place for us to reflect on that verse. So I plan on working on that when I am finished with this blog post. I just don’t want it to feel rushed though. That’s one of my goals for this year…to stop rushing through my Bible reading time, prayer time, Bible study time and just overall God time. Years past I have rushed through all of these things and haven’t got what I needed out of them.
I am not one for making resolutions and I haven’t felt that God has given me a word for this year but I do have some goals…some long term and some short term.
I was diagnosed with some pretty hefty health issues this year added to the chronic pain that I already deal with. So here are some of my goals:
· Eat more real whole foods
· Exercise regularly
· Write everyday…even if it is something short
· Be more pro-active in my prayer life
· Try not to procrastinate
· Get projects done in a timely manner
· Don’t over commit
These are just some goals that are running around in my head. I’m sure I have lots more.
I pray everyone reading this has a blessed year this year. I wish you all the best with whatever goals, resolutions, or whatever you may call them. I would love for us all to make all of our dreams come true. All the best to each one of you. God bless.
